2 Sqdn SAAF a/c "DB-G" Downed.

Hello,
From a picture very similar to the more recent Desert Find.
See the item on the LEMB site in the "Picasa Web"
https://picasaweb.google.com/grahamg...08004195817010
A downed 2 Squadron SAAF a/c with the codes "DB-G", Aircraft has the early roundel with the wide Yellow outer band.
Does anyone know of the serial number and name and fate of its pilot ?
Serial number looks to end with "81".

Many thanks
Alex
