Hell friends, a old witness say me about a "spitfire" (as they guess) crashlanded near Reggio Emilia on april 21 1945.
The plane was strafing some german horses in the south border if the town when was hit by light A/A fire. The plane went down in the open fields just southwest of the town, anyone can suggest who was the pilot and his fate? i believe it was british, cause our old men was strafed every day by US p-47, and they know very well the difference with the Spit! Thanks in advance. Michele |
