LW ops near Linz, Austria - April 25/26 1945
I am seeking more information on Luftwaffe units operating in the area of Linz, Austria in late April 1945. Specifically, I am trying to identify the aircraft that downed an AAF special operations B-24 over Konradsheim, Austria in the early AM of 26 April, 1945.
If you want more information, please see: http://users.rcn.com/hugh.turner/Leslie/Leslie.html I am in the process of updating the info on the site. Thanks in advance. Hugh |

Almost sure plane of 4./NJG 100. Unknown pilot of 8. Jagddivision claimed 1 shot down plane in Steyr Area during night 25./26. April 1945. Only one unit created 8.Jagddivision at the end of WW2 - 4./NJG 100 with bases at Raffelding (Austria) and Prostějov (Prossnitz, Czechoslovakia).
