I suspect this B-25 was from the 341st BG which conducted a series of strikes against shipping along the Yangtze. From the pictures of the wreckage, it looks like they may have recovered an engine which should have a serial number on it. It should be possible to identify this plane.

I think it is the crash of B-25 41-30457 from the 341st BG, 11th BS (MACR 1631) which occurred on 30 December 1943. While conducting low level skip bomb attacks against shipping , the B-25 struck the mast of a ship and crashed into the river. The entire crew was killed. Pages from MACR shown here:
