FOCKE WULF 190 LOSSES FRANKFURT 1945

Hi, Please can you help? Do you know of any FW190 losses/crash sites in the Frankfurt area during 1945? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Don
They might have clashed with the Spitfires coming out of B.116 Wunstorf?

Might that be Frankfurt/O. or Frankfurt/M.? Did you have a radius extending out from the city centre in mind? I'm guessing there were bazillions of Fw 190's lost in 1945. Due to incomplete records, I doubt if anyone could come up with a 100% complete list for you, even after extensive research. That's why I would suggest you be more specific as to radius and dates. Some one will have to spend many, many hours on this unless you redefine your parameters. Good luck.

JG 2 lost several 190D-9 in that aera in 1945. Spitfire from 2nd TAF in the Frankfurt/Main aera? No, only on 26.12.1944 Spitfires from 2nd TAF encounter Fw 190D-9 near Trier (JG 4).
