Yellow or white fuselage strip on the Dornier Do 17 Z of KG 76
Hi,
As well as in the books ""La Luftwaffe attaque ā l'ouest" (Jean-Bernard Frappé) page 26 as page 254 of "Luftwaffe Codes Markings & Units: 1939-1945" (Barry Rosch) photos of the Dornier D0 17Z KG76 show a thin strip yellow in front of the fuselage code. Are these markings were unique to KG 76 and from what date they appear: in the Western Campaign or during the Battle of Britain ? Thank you in advance Bertrand |
