Oblt Bruno Stolle's Claim of 24 Nov 41
On 24 Nov 41 Oblt Bruno Stolle 8./JG 2 claimed a Spitfire for his 13th "kill". Can anyone tell me the location of the claim please?

Erik Moombeeck gives in his book JG 2 vol2 another match rather a Spit but a Tomahawk of n°26 Army Sqdn

Location has been lost over time but the time was 1649 hrs. 8/JG 2 was apparently at Théville at that time

Thanks for the answer, it is most helpful as I thought III./JG 2 was based at Saint-Pol on this date. Do you know if it was only 8./JG 2 what was based at Théville at this time? Best Regards Andy Fletcher

All of II Gruppe but 8 Staffel seemed to do its own thing often than not
