Me 262 WNr. 110745 or 110748?

Good Morning,

http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/album....&pictureid=749

http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/album....&pictureid=750

The first photo was recently posted by Mato Vlac on the modelforum.cz site.
The second I found on the web years ago. I apologize for not being able to reference it. From the similarities in the camouflage pattern I believe it is the same aircraft.

Please note that in the first photo there is a lack of wappen or blue/red bands to connect it to JG 7. The marking on the engine nacelle is quite distinctive.

My questions:

Is this Me 262 WNr. 110745 or Me 262 WNr. 110748?

Where were the photographs taken?

Best regards,

Jim

It was W.Nr.110748, Schwäbisch-Hall. You have it in the description of the photo on modelforum.cz

I have reservations about this aircraft being W.Nr.110748. First, O'Connell, p.105, has it serving "with either I. or III./JG 7". Second, when I enlarge the photos in my first post, the last digit does not look like an "8" to me.

I am not completely identified with W.Nr.110748, but I held the opinion of others

Unfortunately, the book is sometimes unreliable, as I have found out a few times in the past. Needs an update

Re: Me 262 WNr. 110745 or 110748?

I found one photo that was taken in Hessental, which I assume is Schwäbisch Hall-Hessental. The penultimate number is 4 and the last one appears as 5 or 6

The damage to this machine is very similar to the well-known Me 262A, which has technological marks A6 (so far W.Nr.110748)

Just a consideration

Maybe a better photo will appear and we will be sure

Unreliable in what way? I have never stopped working on an update.
