At last a Bf 109 K!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=180072447446 Same aircraft as on two starboard photos on page 55 in "Messerschmitt Bf 109 K" published by JaPo. Here, at eBay, however the port side shown. White 16 from 9./JG 53 according to the book. Found at Lechfeldt?

Yep it's Werner Mölders and his mount is Bf109 F-1 Wk-Nr 5628.
The picture must be from early 1941 then the airfield could be Mardyck ? Maybe someone 'here' has additional info ? There could be some kind of speciel occausion to the picture being taken. Could it be repaint job ? Because in Oct.40 his unit JG51 recieved the first three pre-producted F-models he flew them and they had a different paint scheme but not sure if Wk-Nr 5628 was one of these. Or it could also be his first production F-1 model. Nick
