Re: Unknown (to me) letters on a Ju 52
Hi Christian,
I only have a record of Ju52 with the German civil code D-AHMX {should be D-AMHX - typo, sorry} but absolutely nothing to add to this I'm afraid. Cheers GrahamB Last edited by GrahamB; 29th March 2008 at 02:40. |

Re: Unknown (to me) letters on a Ju 52
...I assume you meant D-AMHX Graham? We have that listed as a Ju52/3m on the LEMB Sktz Database. However, like you, we have very little else...

Re: Unknown (to me) letters on a Ju 52
Hi Christian,
the code implies that it was registered in Germany and therefore could belong to:- Lufthansa (or one of its related airlines such as the German-Russian Deruluft) or was in paramilitary use (i.e. the clandestine Luftwaffe) or another government/research department or was in actual Luftwaffe service (on loan, impressed). Re: Unknown (to me) letters on a Ju 52
Thank you again!
I have tried to put a scan in of the picture, but i am not very good at this, hope it works. It looks like a civilian version, i think. Best wishes Christian
