Loss of Do-17 from KG-3 - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

Can anyone give me a loss report about a Do-17Z from 9./KG-3 crashed near Amsterdam 13th June 1940 (due bad weather?). Staffelkommandeur was Hptm. Rohloff.

Can anyone give me any hints for books about KG-3?

perhaps you can find more details about this crash in Peter Cornwell fantastic book : "Then and Now - The Battle for France".

Jens & Dirk,

Unfortunately you will not find any reference to this crash in my book for I have no record of any such incident. As far as I am aware, the only loss reported by KG3 on that date was a Dornier Do17Z of II./KG3 that returned with 5% minor damage from AA fire - location not recorded. The crew was unhurt.
