170 Sqdn Lancaster PB573 21/22 feb 1945
Hi All,
I'm trying to locate the crashlocation of Lancaster PB573 of 170 Sqdn flown by F/Lt. M.A. Coderre. The a/c was hit by flak, and attacked by a nightfighter on the way home from Duisburg, somewhere between Venlo and Weert in the Netherlands. Coderre parachuted to savety and landed close to a farm near Weert. Three of the crew where wounded and taken care of in Dutch hospitals. The tailgunner is still mia. Does anyone know where the (remains of the) lancaster came down. The route from Venlo to Weert is south west. Maybe Belgium is an option? Tia
