Good morning, could anybody provide information on KG51 losses on the 7.4.41 whilst in action in the Balkans.
Particularly crew names if possible.

Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!

Could you please specify, in case you have any details, if Ofw. Gerritzen and Ofw. Johann Geritzer lost 26.05.1942 on 9K+BK, is the same person?

I say this is the same person. On my photos you can find Ofw. Johann Gerritzen.

Thank you. As I see he has never returned to Germany. He was captured on May 26, 1942.

I have no hints that he was captured by the Russians. If that so, I think he died in captivity .

Anyone have WNr. for the May 26, 1942 Gerritzen loss by chance? According to the loss he (as Horst G.) and his crew were MIA, cause unknown

Jim,

In Soviet documents there is no trace of w.n. for Gerritzen's Ju-88. The plane was hit by Flak and set on fire. Gerritzen managed to bail out, others perished.
