Re: Schipol FP

Rémi,

According to Bulletin Airwar nr. 37, 1978 Schiphol was bombed at :
October 1940: Schiphol 2,7,25,27
November 1940: Schiphol 1,19,27
December 1940 was not mentioned.

Bulletin Airwar is the magazine of the Dutch Study Group Airwar 1939-1945.

A-Schipol

14/15 Nov 40: bombed by about half of a mixed force of some 32 RAF bombers.

That's it for fourth quarter 1940.

Re: Schipol FP

Many thks for the fast, very fast answer indeed , no losses were reported for all these dates, I mean planes, casualties are known, but it seems that at least in one of those raids, the pers. plane of Gen. Christiansen was destroyed ..

I have a little about the 14/15 November attack here: http://www.ghostbombers.com/1940/Coventry/cov_7.html

Re: Schipol FP

I have found this:
RL 2 III/769 (28.01.1940 – 31.01.1941)
Ob.d.L. Genst.Gen.Qu. 6.Abt.(Ic) H.Qu. den 29.08.1940
Luftflotte 2.
11.) 24.8. Flugbereitsch. Luftzeuggruppe Holland Schiphol Bombenwurf
Ar. 66, 100% Bruch. Keine Personalverluste.

12.) 24.8. Flugbereitsch. Luftzeuggruppe Holland Schiphol Bombenwurf
Fi.156, 5% Bruch. Keine Personalverluste.

Other second-line aircraft have not been lost at Schiphol airfield in the second half of 1940.
