Cant Z.1007 in German service in 1944
AFAIK there were a few Luftwaffe transport & training units still using Italian Cant Z.1007 aircraft in 1944. I would like to ask how many Z.1007 were still in German service in 1944. Is there any info on units operating them?
Thanks! R |

Re: Cant Z.1007 in German service in 1944
You might want to checkout this LEMB thread on Luftwaffe use of the Z1007... according to page 46 of "Il Ricco Bottino" (The Rich Booty) by Hans Werner Neulen [AeroFan, 2000] "Only very few Cant Z1007's flew with the Luftwaffe in the Spring of 1944 and only four were given German insignia..."
