B.L. Duckenfield 501 Squadron
Hi guys
I just got "the Luftwaffe Figthers" by Chris Goss one of the pilots listed in the book is Ron Duckenfield of 501 Squadron, how do you get Ron out of B ? (which my name is Ron, and it is shorten from Ronald ??) so does anybody know what his full name was, and if or why he was called Ron ? (that don't sound like it would be a normal nickname type thing) (Chris, great book, I just also order the one on the LW Bombers, should be here monday)

Full name was Byron Duckenfield so you can guess where Ron came from!
