Royal Bulgarian D. 520

Any information on this? Is it a fake? Would mean it was in Bulgarian hands in 1940 (Before adoption of St. Andrews Cross).

From the DTU Publicatoions monograph on the D.520

Re: Royal Bulgarian D. 520

As replied on the French board "Aérostories", this would be surprising as these roundels were discarded when Bulgaria joined the Axis powers in June 1941.

The D.520s were delivered from October 1943 on, long after the black Saint-Andrew cross on a white square had replaced the Bulgarian coat of arms.

But who knows... our passion is full of suprises.

Re: Royal Bulgarian D. 520

If you have scan of this image you can see from the code what was made under it [sometimes inside the image code are even the type of graphic card].

Other way is to ask publisher about the photo. It is not in their favor to publish fake images. Their problem
