Stab I/StG77 Survivors
Hi,
I'd like to include some first hand accounts from German airmen that took part attacking Thorney Island airfield in August 1940 in the manuscript 'Coastal Dawn'. At present all I can find is accounts of the attack at Tangmere. Could anyone help me trace survivors or perhaps know of written German accounts which I could translate? Any help would be Appreciated. Kindest Regards Andrew |

Re: Stab I/StG77 Survivors
Andrew: The best source is Alfred Price's book on 18 Aug 40. I am afraid that you are too late in making contact with any other survivors and in any case, I never saw anything from the German side mentioning the presence of Blenheims. I do have the post analysis report from the Germans but it is dry reading
