165 Sqn/Smallwood claim, 6/6/44

Hi all,

I have another 165 Sqn claims query; any help would be appreciated. The
entry for W/C DG 'Splinters' Smallwood in 'TOE' indicates he had a shared victory with three pilots of 165 Sqn on D-Day, namely an Ju 88. Was this a confirmed victory or not? Or was the claim downgraded or 'unlodged'?
Smallwood was Wing Leader, Predannack, at the time.

Cheers, Bruce
