Ju 88 Loss off Kythros

A long shot but does anyone have any record of a Ju 88 of presumably 2/123 being shot down and ditching off Kythros? No date I am afraid but presumably 1943-44

the islands name ist Kythnos, unfortunately i couldn`t find this los. They exist only by Aufkl.Gr. 126 on this isl.

Hello Brian,

the book is writen in german. A non german speaker would not have much difficulty to get the most out of this book, because the majority of its content refers crewnames, officers, planes, losses, etc.
The main chapters are about the personnel of the flying units that were present in Greece, an extended study about the paratroopers in Crete- including rare photo material, a lot coloured.
Moreover, lists of anti-aircraft units (their officers, their where abouts, etc), ground forces (pioneers, safety units, communications, field airports, etc), Feldpost numbers of all units, losses and so on.
