Volume 2 does exist!

Robert Forsyth informs us that he had just received a box containing 64 kg (!) of copies of "Dive-Bomber and Ground-Attack Units of the Luftwaffe Volume 2" !!! So this is absolute confirmation of the existence of this book. Between that and the Amazon.uk info I think we can confidently proclaim this book exists and will very soon be generally available! After over 3 years of delays! Not so instant gratification.

Re: Vol. 2 - Looking forward to it.

Doug,

Thanks for the notification. I know that this 'extended gestation period' was not your or Larry's plan, and I'm glad that it is finally imminent (I had one pre-ordered... HOW long ago?).

Nice to hear good news, GRM

Re: Volume 2 does exist!

I was also informed by the bookseller that the book has actually been shipped. Awaiting it (im)patiently.

Re: Volume 2 does exist!

Your best bet is Amazon.uk:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1906537097

They definitely have it.

We received word yesterday from Ian Allan that North America should get their consignment in "about a month" as it has only just been shipped.

Volume 2 does exist!

Volume 2 duly arrived in the post yesterday, and it continues in the vein of the excellent previous volumes. An invaluable source of information, and recommended to anyone interested in Luftwaffe history.

In an ideal world, Aufklarer and Zerstorer volumes would also be very welcome in the same format!

Regards Richard.

Re: Volume 2 does exist!

At 12: 20 PM EST I received my copy of "Dive-Bombers and Ground-Attack Units of the Luftwaffe" Volume 2. Delayed gratification! So far it appears to be perfect. It hard to believe that its been 5 or 6 years since we wrote it! The index (covering both volumes) is much more detailed than that of the Bomber Units book.
