Re: 6./ZG26

Hallo,
at first I must say thank you Matti and Rüdiger.

In my collection I have a Honor Goblet "LEUTNANT ERHARD HERRMANN 30.11.40", can this be the same person? At the end of 1940 , there was a adjutand with the name "Lt. Herrmann" in the ErpG210.

Best regards

Re: 6./ZG26

All

Petrick/Stocker in their Me 210/Me 410 book states
420475 3U+BP 6./ZG 26 18 May 1944 crashed during combat near Frankfurt/Oder
420475 3U+BP 6./ZG 26 25 June 1944 crashed during combat near Garz (Graz?)
Easy enought for a printer to put 18 May instead of 13 May I suppose, but is it really possible that the aircraft was so slightly damaged it was back in business one month later to be shot down again?

Re: 6./ZG26

The loss on 13.05.1944 was a 100% loss.....I have no records for a 25.06.1944 loss.

Re: 6./ZG26

Thanks John

I suppose Garz could be correct since it is a village on Rügen . From where could possibly such a mistake have its origin?
