				Identify location-Siwte

I am trying to identify a crashsite location originally listed in the Gen.Qu.6 Abt. reports as follows: Ju 88 L1+ET, W.Nr. 3282, crashed as a result of technical failure on 24.2.41 at ?Siwte?, Führer Ltn. Werner Mühlbradt. At that time, III./L.G. 1 was operating out of Catania. I am certain that I have copied the location incorrectly, but do not have a complete copy of the loss list at hand. It would also be good to know the % damage if that is available. Thanks in advance,

Looks like at a certain point of this loss announcement handwritten notes were involved.

	A hand-written Sütterlin letter "r" is similar to a hand-written Normalschrift "w" |

				Re: Identify location-Siwte

In the same way that an Enigma machine could not encode a letter as itself, a handwritten Sütterlin letter looks like any letter except the one it actually is!
