German losses in Holland
Hello,
I live in a small place called Veessen, in The Netherlands. On 30 January 1944 Germany lost many planes in The Netherlands. One of this planes, a Messerschmitt was crashed in Veessen at the Bandijk. The plane was never recoverd, and most likely the pilot is still in it. I do not have any further information. Any help whatsoever will be very well recieved indeed. Henry

You need to contact Gerrit Kamphuis in Epe. He researched this dogfight of 30.01.44 in detail. A couple of German pilots are still missing and crashed in that general area.
