Hi Joe GQM gives - 'H' at Orel-West Fw190A-5 2668? I/JG51 100% crashed and burnt out Oblt Michael Sonner + . The Held book on JG51 also gives surname as Sonner showing him as in Stab I and showing him with 7 victories of which 3 were in the west.

Correct name is really Sonner and the aircraft 152668. He was from Stab I/JG 51 as stated by Held.

In the BofB, Sonner was with 3/JG 51-I have just mentioned him in an article in the current Britain at War

Thanks very much Gentlemen,
The VDK have him listed as Sommer, with a date of birth 19.08.1915 Munich, their info is from the Deutsche Dienststelle, so I'll ask them to query it with them.
Cheers
Joe

With Matti's help the VDK will be amending their data base shortly, from Sommer to Sonner.
Thanks to All.
