Check of Fernnachtjagd ops in BA/MA file RL 7/88-100 Luftflottenkommando 3 Meldungen

Dear all,

I have recently obtained part of the BA/MA file RL 7/88-100 Luftflottenkommando 3 Meldungen, which contains detailed reports about the long-range intruder (Fernnachtjagd) effort of II./NJG1 - I./NJG2 during 1940-41. Who has a complete set of these records and would be willing to check a number of dates for me?

Hello Theo,

If I had I would be glad to help. As you know (and discovered yourself too) the claims of the II./NJG 1-I./NJG 2 contain a Ritterkreuz-worthy amount of constructed claims. Some of these have a genuine origin (mainly 1941), some have been put into claim lists long after WW-2.
