First name in a Flugbuch

Hello,
Again I have trouble reading the first name in a Flugbuch and hope someone can help. I believe his last name is Juschka and he is Obergefreiter.

Hope someone can read this.

Thanks in advance,

Christian

Re: First name in a Flugbuch

the internet says the highest proportion of surnames 'Juschka' are to be found in Germany, but also Slovakia. So it could be that he was form the Slovak state and flew for the Germans

Apologies if it's the same one you used but I find this site is useful: https://www.kartezumnamen.eu

It says that the name Juschka occurs in 131 localities in Germany (a lot more common than some of those I have searched for!).

different spellings

Brūno - Country: Latvia

Re: First name in a Flugbuch

Accent is there , to says it's an "u" not an "e", to differenciate them as they hv the same shape

Definitely Bruno. Remi analyzes it correctly. Pure Kurrentschrift (=Sütterlin)
