Re: Hitlers Fw-200

Hi,
here is a photo of Hitlers Fw 200, named Grenzmark.
The W.-Nr. I don't know, but the ac signs were D-ACVH.

All the best,
Horst

Re: Hitlers Fw-200

Hitler had several Fw 200s during the course of the war. Most famous is a Fw 200 V3 (A-0) called Immelmann III (D-2600, later WL-2600 and 26+00). WerkeNr = 3099.
Another machine used by Hitler is Fw 200 C-4/U1 with registration CE+IB which wore full east front winter Luftwaffe markings. I'd have to look up the WerkeNr. if it's known at all.

"Grenzmark" was a Führer escort aircraft with WerkeNr. 3098. It crashed on 23 Dec. 1941 in the Soviet Union.

The pic from horst is the Wk 3098 crash in landing in Orel Russia am 23.12.41

Perhaps Hitler have diverses Fw 200, Dönitz has one, Himler too ..

For AH i found Fw200 Wk 3099 A-0 V3 S9 26+00 certainly D-ARHU
named Immelmann III .

This plane was given for to be destroyed by alied bombing circa 18/1/44

Best Regards, Dan

Re: Hitlers Fw-200

That would probably be CE+IB, but that's more my guess than anything else. CE+IB was painted in full easfront winter livery at some point.
Issue #8 of Luftfahrt International has an article on this machine and the other Fw 200s used by Hitler. You might want to try and find it on Ebay.de. It has a number of nice photos and drawings.

Re: Hitlers Fw-200

According to Nowarra's book CE+IB had the Werk-Nr. 0137 (second picture). The same book says that TK+CV, Werk-Nr 0240, was used by Hitler to visit the Ostfront in 1943.

Re: Hitlers Fw-200

You might want to check Hitler's Squadron by Sweeting, published by Brassy's in 2002. It does not have a detailed WNr listing of the Fw 200 a/c but has lots of text and photos.
