He III-J 22nd February 1940
Trying to get a serial no or the name(s) of the crew for a Heinkel III-J that was in a small engagement with three Blenheims from 254 Squadron over the North Sea on 22 February 1940.
Managed to find that the Blenheims received more hits than the Heinkel. Any help would be great. Kind Regards Andy Bird |

Re: He III-J 22nd February 1940
It was from 3/806. Combat occurred at 1214 hrs in VLAA0015. He 111 was damaged but no further details as no casualties. There is a para on the combat in 'Fledgling Eagles'. By the way, were the 235 Sqn diaries of use?
