Claim by Ar 196 on 21 June 1942
Hello,
On 21 june 1942 a Sunderland of 10 Sqn RAAF and a Whitley were orbiting a dinghy when they were attacked by an Ar 196. The Sunderland was hit, tried to land at sea and exploded without survivors. Has anyone a trace of it in German documents ? I am especially interested to know if a German pilot made a claim for this victory, if one is known. Thanks in advance Laurent |
