Flamingo R2764

Hi guys

Note sure if this question has been previously asked, but do we know what caused Flamingo R2764 to 'explode' in the air on 30 April 1942? Amongst its passengers were four Russian officers. Sabotage?

Cheers

Brian

Perhaps this link may give the info you're looking for: http://www.yorkshire-aircraft.co.uk/...k42/r2764.html

Here it is written that an engine problem and fire caused the crash.

Leendert
