Primary stuff - China 1943/44

Hello
Anybody has anything in kind of log books, photos and documents related to China late 1943 - early 1944? I am even looking for photos of temples!

You can find some related Chinese book but thay are in Chinese only.
No day-to-day operation log or many photos are remained, so these books are based on some gerneral infomation and well-known storys, even personal interviews are very limited.
This is a latest book by a noted writer, noting new to me . But maybe you will be interested..

Well, I may get short bits translated but a whole book seems too much. The question is, is there anything more rather than in American books?
