One of Britain’s most syncretic business thinkers, he wrote the best book of all on the Battle of Britain (“Most Dangerous Enemy”) and a very fine survey of Alamein. A great gentleman, a fine writer. The Most Dangerous Enemy is one of those books I get out every couple of years. Very saddened to hear of his passing
