S/Ldr Tony Iveson DFC
It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing away of S/Ldr Tony Iveson DFC.
Tony flew in the Battle of Britain with 616 Squadron before converting to 4 engine bombers and operating with 617 Squadron. Tony was part of the attacking force that sank the Tirpitz in late 1944. A true gentleman and part of the driving force that helped get built the Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park, London. He will be sorely missed by many people.
