Ergänzungs-Jagdgeschwader 2 Information

I am wondering if there is any reference material on Ergänzungs-Jagdgeschwader 2. I am particularly interested in learning the fate of Unteroffizier Günter Kunz, who according to the German War Graves Website, was shot down on 20 April 1945; however, I have Kunz's Soldbuch (Pay Book) that was taken off his body by an American G.I., who wrote a notation in the back that reads: Shot down and killed in action at 6:15 A.M., April 21st 1945. Kunz was a member of the 3./Ergänzungs-Jagdgeschwader 2 from 4 February 1945. I know that this unit operated Fw 190s and He 162s during Kunz's service and am wondering if anyone knows anything about Kunz's fate, which type of aircraft he flew on the day he was shot down, and what the mission of Ergänzungs-Jagdgeschwader 2 was on 20 (or perhaps 21) April 1945. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Ergänzungs-Jagdgeschwader 2 Information

I just received a letter from the Deutsche Dineststelle in Berlin concerning Unteroffizier Günter Kunz. They stated that Kunz was shot down on 20 April 1945 over Packebusch, Germany. Does anyone have any information about any downings over Packebusch on this date? I would really like to determine if Kunz was flying an Fw 190 or an He 162.

It was planned to equip I/EJG 2 with jets but it never came round to that.
