Hi Friends!
I have attached a very strange looking colour profile of a He 162 A. Can somebody confirm this winter/night camouflage? Has somebody seen a reference pic of this plane? Who was the pilot of this jet? Santa Claus?I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. All the best for 2006. Nice Greetings from Vienna, Simon Schatz |

Where are the reindeer? Given the performance of the 162, Santa would likely need them for reliability.

Re: He 162 in strange Winter/Night camouflage
Just of pure curiousity, in Poland "Santa Claus" on Christmas is a new mass media invention. Traditionally it was "Starman" or "Angel" depending on area. Santa Claus or Święty Mikołaj is coming here on 6 December.
How it is in your countries? Merry Christmas to all!!! |

Here in Austria we normally celebrate baby Jesus and not Santa Claus. On 6. Dezember is St. Nicholas day! Cheers, Simon |

Re: He 162 in strange Winter/Night camouflage
Same in Hungary. Mikulás (approx. St. Claus), dressed in red-white garment, actually comes on the night of Dec. 6.
On the night of Dec. 24 to 25 there are the Angels who show up (with presents, of course).
