A very original camouflaged Me 262 of KG (J) 54

Hi there Gang,

Thanks to Snautzer, here are some links to a very original KG (J) 54 Me 262 shot down in April 1945, photographed by James Giannopoulis:

Any informations about this particular machine ?

Cheers
Marc

From the amount of dirt on the wings, I would guess a bomb or artillery shell landed close to it causing the damage.

Hi,

thank you for the links.
It´s B3+HL, WNr. 110 943, found at Kitzingen. Lt Bernhard Becker, 3.KG(J)54, made an emergency landing there on 09. March 45 at 11.05 h.
Further photos also shown in Japo Vol III (..over Czech territory).

Best regards, Karl
