Hpt.Rolf Strössner SG4

I believe he may be this fellow, but is he also the pilot that lead squadrons in Jg27 and JG1?

From this site: https://proza.ru/2019/06/25/1590

Strossner Rolf, 06/26/1912., Lieutenant.
He flew with 3.J / 88 on Bf 109E.
03/16/1939. 2 Bf 109 of 3.J / 88 collided in the air, the pilots escaped using parachutes. Lieutenant Strössner was slightly injured.
Decorated with the German Spanish Cross in gold with swords.
During the Second World War he won 1 victory.
3./SG4 commander Hauptmann Rolf Stoessner went missing (died) on 05/21/1944 after his Fw.190A-6 W.Nr.470452 was shot down by Spitfires east of Rome.

His victor was probably a pilot of 145 Squadron which claimed several Fw190 from SG4, including two shot down by SLdr Neville Duke.

regards

Keith

If you're interested in SG 4's actions on the day Strössner went missing: http://www.ghostbombers.com/sf/SG4/21may.html. I can't answer the question of who shot him down, though.
