Please, help to identify who could have claimed this MBR?

We were sent in MBR-2 after torpedo boats that attacked ports. They went to Kertch. We found them almost at their port. Still, we bombed them, but after bombs were gone we were intercepted by fighters. Don’t know whether we hit something or not, we had to fight for our lives. Pilots went to 10 m height, we shot at fighters, and they left. Germans did not like low altitudes. We started gaining altitude almost at our shore, I radioed to the ground that we were arriving, when they said that fighter is behind us. Then everything exploded around me, we fell into the water, and when I came to the surface I saw a Me-110, a two- keel plane. Its pilot strafed us and set off.
The event took place on 29 of may 1943 at 6 o'clock in the morning

Re: Please, help to identify who could have claimed this MBR?

No match in German claims known to me.

In this area, my first guess was a Bf 110 of 10.(N)/ZG 1 that flew dusk, night and dawn mission but they claimed nothing this day. Other claims listed were for 2 Mitchell, or for Il-2 or fighters, and I can't see any of these being for a misidentified MBR-2.

The closest MBR-2 claim was done by a Luftwaffe pilot on 23 May 1943.

I could be a Romanian claim, but in this case it could not have been a Bf 110.

Another possibility was that it was a German 2-engined bomber, that used an opprtunity to surprise and shot down a Soviet patrol aircraft, as both sides do. In this case, the "claim" won't appear in usual lists.
