Unknown propeller cowling
Here the first two shots of an unknown propeller cowling found south of Bologna, Italy (Gothic Line area Monzuno-Vado). The researcher said to me it could be a P-51 Mustang, but this four blade isn't from a Mustang. I never saw it before... Post WWII? A Civilian one? Your opinion? Best regards to all...

A new photo, original and marked. You can read "3" two times... The pipe broken was red in origin...

I suspect the pipe is part of a propeller de-icing system. I think that makes the spinner post WW2.

Yes, I think the same. I checked a lot of photos, but I didn't find nothing similar. WWII four blades a/c are few and all without this type of de-icing system. Thank you very much, Bill...
