Hotel/Gasthof in Freiburg

I agree with you - zum Löwen is a very nice hotel, but I chose Sonne due to the location. I have stayed at zum Löwen twice (and joined a meeting with old Luftwaffe personel once)

Hello!
Just a little bit late, but returned from a trip to Freiburg a few days ago.
I usually stay at Hotel Helene.
It´s 42 Euros per night with breakfast.
From the railway station 10 minutes with tram number 5.
From the hotel one can walk in 20 minutes to the archiv.
