Sgt George Wilhelm KRAUS +(1313571)
Born 9.12.1922, only son of Robert Kraus and Helen Elizabeth Kraus. Came to London from Vienna in 1938. Attended Charterhouse 1938-40. Pilot also known as Keans.
Was he Jewish or just an Austrian refugee? K

His entry in "We Will Remember Them", simply reads: The Royal Air Force - Kraus, G. W. - 611 Squadron. See: We Will Remember Them: A Record of the Jews Who Died in the Armed Forces of the Crown from 1939. Morris,Henry & Martin Sugarman. London:Vallentine Mitchell,2011 (2nd ed.). p.171. Col.
