Ed; a couple of notes. The 468BG emblem was based on Mitchell's sailing burgee (flag); "The Lives of a Bengal Lancer" film aired in 1935 starring Gary Cooper.

Ed. Almost interesting fact. There was a second B-29 "Bengal Lancer" in India named from the movie, 42-6348/E (40BG Chakulia then Tinian); also a 339FG P-51D at Fowlmere, same name but this was dedicated to the Bloomfield High School NJ "Bengals".
