Whirlwind air kill
Greetings all,
I am interesting in air combat where was engaged Whirlwind's SF+A P6993 and SF+S P6982 of No. 137 Sq chasing a lone Ju-88 over the North Sea on 19.12.1942 with Bartlett and Barclay as pilots. Claim of Bartlett was 'damaged' since they did not wait to see their victim crash, but Germans had a confirmed loss that day of a Ju-88 so I don't think it got home!!! I would be interesting in more precise details about this combat, if possible any good image. Thank you
