Re: Stab,I,III/StG2 losses in May 1941
Thank you very much for your responses.
During the past 5 years I managed to find exact information about that incident I had heard of. The aircraft was not a Ju-87 but a Me-109. The dead pilot was uffz. Willi Hagel of 4./JG 77 who crash landed near Molaoi the 14th May 1941. The exact area of the crash called ''Pacogia'' and it is situated near the village Rihea. Dear Aviator , I was surprised about the accuracy of your information. I am very interested to know the source. Is it from german records or from some pilot's memoirs? Tasos |
