Ju 88 forced landing at Vik, Norway May 1940
Searching more information regarding this forced landing on a flat field at Vik in Brønnøysund. There were no loss of lives. The name of the pilot was Eugen Kretchmer (he survived the war). One of the crew received a shot in the belly when they were caught the next day.
They probably belonged to KG 30. The forced landing took place on the 20th. of May-40, according to a book written by Dag Skogheim: "Fiender og Mennesker" Hope someone here can help with more detailles, names, confirmation of date etc. regards Kjell Last edited by flyvrak; 20th July 2012 at 23:44.
