Crashed/abandoned aircraft, pilot ID's ?
From a crashed enemy aircraft report, dated 20/09/1944.
Fw 190 A-8, Le Mesnel, Garner, 5+(yellow) Werk Nr 1711451. Ju 88, possibly S-3, South-East of Carantilly, Werk Nr 330713. Ju 88, Les Biards, Werk Nr 6603. Me 109 G-6, N/W of St Pierre sur Dives, Werk Nr 109163860, 9+1 (black), VT+FI. Me 109G-6, 1 mile S/E of St Pierre sur Dives, Werk Nr 165145, 11+(white). Fw 190 A-6, Evere Airfield, Werk Nr 650833, B 68 painted in white on rudder, noted as the most heavily armed Fw 190 being found, so far, fited with 2 x MG 131, 13 mm, 2 x MG 151, 20 mm, and 2 x Mk 108, 30 mm. I would like to find the names of pilots and crews of these aircraft, and their units? Thanks Joe |
