Identity of Spitfire Sought!
Hi Guys,
My contact in Germany sent me these pics of a crashed and burning Spitfire. Unfortunately the serial number cannon be seen only the fuselage markings that were FY-A. I am not sure of the unit or time period pictures were taken, presuming 1940-41? Believed shot down by JG2. Any further info would be greatfully recieved.
