Eagle Attacking Winged British Lion Emblem
Dear All,
I save the attached photo of a Bf 110 C from the recently finished eBay auction here http://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-eines-Fl...-/371218790078. In the back of the photo is written "Flgpl. Rangsdorf". The propeller tips appear to have been white. My query is as follows - is it possible that this photo was taken sometime between 1.3.40. and 26.6.40, before the 4. Staffel of ZG 1 was renamed 7./ZG76? I have a number of photos of the Bf 110 C/D aircraft sporting this emblem in Scandinavia, but this one might have been taken before, while the Staffel was still designated 4./ZG 1. Any comments/remarks will be much appreciated. Regards, Sinisa Last edited by sidney; 3rd November 2015 at 19:31. |
