Two B-24 Liberator losses 1 August 1943 Ploesti raid
Dear all,
I have documented two confirmed Nachtjäger claims for B-24s shot down during the 1 August 1944 Ploesti raid, and would be grateful for details on the matching Liberator losses to these claims: Uffz. Hugo Knöbel: 1 10./NJG6 B-24 Bütoi (RL 82): 10 m. 14.31 Ofw. Georg Klever: 3 10./NJG6 B-24 Piatra (TI 5): 10 m. 14.43 Cheers and thanks, Theo
